Still loving making a difference...

I was asked recently whether I still enjoyed working on Give It. After more than five years had I got a bit bored of charity wedding lists?

The answer was easy - every time a couple sign up, and every time a guest donates, I get a terrific buzz. Sometimes (as it happens to be at the moment) it's really difficult to juggle Give It, family life, and work life (i.e. paid work) but the difference we've made over the years continues to keep me motivated to continue to make a difference... and this year we've made more of a difference than last year; although our success can be measured in many ways, the ultimate measure has to be the funds we pass onto our participating charities, and this year has picked up on what was a tough 2009.

Here's to making a difference!
